Millet & District Memorial Lions Campground Offers a Safe Haven to Alberta Wildfire Evacuees

The Millet & District Memorial Lions Campground is opening its doors to those displaced by the recent wildfire emergency in Alberta. The campground stands in solidarity with all those who have been affected by the wildfire, and we are eager to provide assistance however we can.

We understand that the current situation is incredibly stressful and chaotic, which is why we are offering free non-power sites to all evacuees who require a place to stay. Additionally, powered sites will be offered at a reduced rate of $10 during the emergency.

We extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost their homes and belongings and assure them that they can rely on us to offer a safe, comfortable space to stay during these difficult times. Our team is committed to ensuring that every evacuee has access to our resources during this state of emergency.

Evacuees are encouraged to contact our club office to learn more about available accommodations and to make arrangements for their stay. Our team is always available and ready to assist during this emergency.
